  1. . Download firmware
  2. . Extract zip to root of vfat USB stick
  3. . Disconnect Onkyo network
  4. . Connect USB stick to Onkyo
  5. . Turn on Onkyo and select USB input
  6. . Onkyo will indicate "Now Initializing..."

If there's a firmware update online the Onkyo automatically attempts to install it on next reboot.
